Questions, corrections, hotel feedback, partnership inquiries — we read every email. Fredoline (the editor) replies to most of them personally, usually within a week.
Email [email protected]. This is the right address if you've read our city guides and still have a question we haven't answered. Examples we get often: "Is Pamukkale worth a full day if we already have Cappadocia booked?", "Where's safe for two women travelling together in eastern Turkey?", "We're celebrating an anniversary — Antalya or Kaş?". Most of these we can answer in one email; sometimes we'll point you at a journal article or itinerary that addresses your situation more thoroughly.
Typical response time: same day during European business hours, within 48 hours otherwise. We don't have a support team — every reply is from the editor or someone they've personally trained. We don't run a chatbot.
If a hotel has closed, a neighborhood description is dated, a price range is way off, a ferry schedule has changed, or a recommended restaurant has gone downhill since your visit — please tell us. Send a correction. Local knowledge from recent travellers is the whole point of how this site stays current. We credit corrections (anonymously by default; named if you'd prefer) on our editorial standards page. The current correction log goes back to 2024.
If you've stayed at a hotel we recommended — good or bad — we want to hear about it. Reader feedback is one of our most valuable inputs: when three independent readers tell us a property has slipped, we mark it for re-verification on our next trip.
If you run a Turkish hotel or experience and want to be considered for editorial coverage, email [email protected] with: property name and location, current booking-platform review averages (Booking.com / Trip.com / Google), what makes the property distinctive, and what's recently changed (renovation, new chef, etc.). We do not accept PR-funded trips, paid placements, or "preferred partner" arrangements — but reader-volume properties with consistent 8.5+ review averages do get added to our review queue. More detail on the partnerships page.
For interview requests, sourcing for travel articles in other publications, podcast invitations, or republication permissions: [email protected]. Please include your outlet name, deadline, and rough topic. We're happy to be quoted on neighborhood economics, the Istanbul boutique-hotel market, Cappadocia balloon operations, or anywhere else where editorial experience is useful. We don't accept unsourced "expert" attribution on topics we haven't researched.
For GDPR / CCPA / UK GDPR requests — data deletion, data access, marketing-consent withdrawal, or any other privacy-rights matter — email [email protected]. We respond within 30 days as legally required, usually within 5 business days. The full privacy policy details what data we hold and why.
We send one email a week, only when there's something worth saying — a new long-form article, a season change, a balloon-flight calendar update, or a correction worth flagging. To subscribe, use the signup form on any city page or in the footer. To unsubscribe, click the link in any newsletter email. If the unsubscribe link doesn't work for you, just email us and we'll remove you manually within 24 hours.
We never email asking for payment, bank details, passwords, or two-factor codes. We never call. Any unsolicited message claiming to be from Where to Stay in Turkey that asks for sensitive information is a scam — please forward it to [email protected] and then delete it.
